1. The Promoter

The Promoter is AURA PROPERTY SUNSHINE COAST, whose registered office is located at 25/2 Flinders Lane, Maroochydore QLD 4558.

2. Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, excluding employees or contractors of the Promoter and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

3. Entry Fee

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to participate in the voting competition.

4. Acceptance of Terms

By voting or interacting with the official Aura Property Christmas Lights Trail Facebook album, participants are indicating their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

5. Voting Method

Votes will be collected exclusively via Facebook “Likes” on the official Aura Property Sunshine Coast Facebook business page within the 2025 Christmas Lights Trail Album.
Votes cast outside of this album (including shared posts, screenshots, or reuploads) will not be counted.

6. Entry Limitations

Only one voter entry will be accepted per person for the prize draw. Multiple or duplicate Facebook profiles used by the same individual will result in disqualification.

7. Voting Closing Date

Voting closes at 11:59pm AEST on Thursday 18 December 2025. After this date, no further votes will be accepted or counted.

8. Responsibility for Votes

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for votes that are not registered due to technical issues, privacy settings, or Facebook account restrictions.

9. Right to Cancel or Amend

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions without notice due to unforeseen circumstances, including system failure, external interference, or breach of applicable law. Any changes will be communicated publicly via Aura Property’s social media channels.

10. Accuracy of Prize Details

The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this competition.

11. Prize Details

The prize for the Voter Competition is one (1) cash prize of $250.

12. Prize Conditions

The prize is as stated and no other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

13. Winner Selection

The Voter Prize winner will be randomly selected from among individuals who have cast a valid Facebook “Like” on any post within the official Aura Property 2025 Christmas Lights Trail album.

The draw will occur on Friday 19 December 2025.

One winning voter will be chosen using a random selection process conducted by Aura Property Sunshine Coast staff.

The Promoter’s decision is final.

14. Winner Notification

The winner will be notified by direct message on Facebook and announced publicly on Aura Property’s Facebook page and Mix FM on Friday 19 December 2025.

15. Prize Collection

The winner will be required to contact Aura Property Sunshine Coast within seven (7) days of notification to confirm identity and arrange payment.
Prizes not claimed within 14 days may be forfeited and redrawn at the Promoter’s discretion.

16. Finality of Draw

The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the Voter Prize competition will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.

17. Participant Agreement

By participating, voters confirm that their Facebook account is genuine and that they meet the eligibility criteria under these Terms and Conditions.

18. Governing Law

The competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by Australian law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

19. Use of Personal Data

The winner agrees to the use of their Facebook name, suburb, and image in any publicity material, as well as their winning announcement.
Personal data will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent.

20. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the voting process or prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

21. Sponsorship and Platform

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform. Participants are providing their information solely to Aura Property Sunshine Coast.

22. Finality of Selection

Aura Property Sunshine Coast’s decision as to those eligible to participate and the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

23. Right to Modify

Aura Property Sunshine Coast reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to modify or change these Terms and Conditions, which shall take effect immediately upon posting to this webpage.

24. Right to Cancel

Aura Property Sunshine Coast also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

25. Winner Risk Acceptance

The winner accepts the prize at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aura Property Sunshine Coast and its partners will not be held liable for any loss, damage, expense, or injury incurred as a result of participation.

26. Validation and Integrity

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and participants, including identity and residency, and to disqualify any participant who provides false information or tampers with the voting process.

Cast your vote by “Liking” your favourite home’s photo within the official 2025 Aura Property Christmas Lights Trail Facebook Album.

Each “Like” equals one valid vote.

Only “Likes” made directly on the original album photo on the Aura Property Sunshine Coast Facebook page will count toward the final tally.

“Likes” on shared or reposted versions of the image will not be counted.

Voting opens Friday 20 November 2025 and closes Thursday 18 December 2025 at 11:59pm AEST.

One random voter will win $250 cash, drawn from all valid voting interactions.

The winning voter will be contacted via Facebook and announced publicly on Friday 19 December 2025.

Entrants must hold a valid Facebook account and be contactable to claim the prize.

Voters consent to the use of their name for announcement purposes and to receive occasional promotional messages from Aura Property Sunshine Coast (opt-out available at any time).
