1. The Promoter

The Promoter is AURA PROPERTY SUNSHINE COAST, whose registered office is located at 25/2 Flinders Lane, Maroochydore QLD 4558.

2. Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, excluding employees or contractors of the Promoter and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

3. Entry Fee

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4. Acceptance of Terms

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

5. Entry Method

Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Facebook and the Promoter’s website www.aurapropertysc.com.au.
Entrants must complete the official 2025 Aura Property Christmas Lights Trail Registration Form, including:

Full name and contact details (email and phone)

Full property address

A single photo of their Christmas display (landscape format preferred)

6. Entry Limitations

Only one entry will be accepted per person or per property. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

7. Entry Closing Date

The closing date for entry is Sunday 30 November 2025, 5:00pm AEST. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

8. Responsibility for Entries

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason, including technical failure or submission error.

9. Right to Cancel or Amend

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances, including natural disaster, civil disturbance, or any breach of applicable law or regulation. Any changes will be communicated to entrants as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Accuracy of Prize Details

The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

11. Prize Pool

The total cash prize pool is $3,250, distributed as follows:

1st: $1,500 Judges’ Choice

1st: $1,500 People’s Choice (Popular Vote)

$250 Voter Prize (random draw)

12. Prize Conditions

The prizes are as stated and no alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

13. Winner Determination

There will be two major winning categories and one additional voter draw.

(a) People’s Choice Award (Popular Vote)

Determined by the total number of “Likes” received on the entrant’s photo posted in the official Aura Property Sunshine Coast Facebook album.

Only “Likes” on the original post within that album will be counted.

“Likes” on shared posts, reposts, screenshots, or third-party pages will not be counted.

(b) Judges’ Choice Award (Panel Selection)

Determined by the judging panel comprising Tavis Callard, Kingsley Ellmer, and Darren Lockwood from Aura Property.

Entries will be judged based on:

* Creativity and originality

* Theme and cohesiveness

* Presentation quality and attention to detail

* Overall festive appeal and community spirit

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

(c) Voters Prize Draw

One random voter will be selected from among those who “Liked” any post in the official album.

The selected voter will receive a $250 cash prize.

14. Winner Notification

The winners will be notified by the Promoter and Mix FM via phone, email, or Facebook message on or before Friday 19 December 2025, and announced live on Mix FM and Aura Property’s Facebook page.

15. Prize Collection

The Promoter will notify the winners when and where the prize can be collected or delivered. Prizes must be claimed within 14 days of notification.

16. Finality of Judging

The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

17. Entrant Agreement

By entering this competition, an entrant confirms that all information provided is true and accurate, and agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

18. Governing Law

The competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by Australian law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

19. Use of Personal Data

The winners agree to the use of their name, suburb, and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry photograph. Personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without consent.

20. Acceptance of Terms

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

21. Sponsorship and Platform

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media network. Entrants are providing their information to Aura Property Sunshine Coast only.

22. Finality of Selection

Aura Property Sunshine Coast’s decision as to those eligible to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

23. Right to Modify

Aura Property Sunshine Coast shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to modify or change these Terms and Conditions, which shall take effect immediately upon posting to this webpage.

24. Right to Cancel

Aura Property Sunshine Coast also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

25. Winner Risk Acceptance

The winner accepts their prize at their own risk. To the full extent permitted by law, neither Aura Property Sunshine Coast nor its employees, contractors, agents, or associated partners will be liable for any loss, damage, expense, death, or personal injury suffered or incurred as a result of participation.

26. Validation and Integrity of Entries

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including identity and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits false or misleading information or tampers with the entry process. Failure to comply with these Terms will result in disqualification.

27. Rules of the Competition

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

Read and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.

Complete the online entry form via the Aura Property Sunshine Coast website before 5:00pm, 30 November 2025.

Entrant’s property address will be included on the Aura Property website and published in the public voting album on Facebook.

Each property must display an official Aura Property voting sign (600mm x 400mm) with a unique entrant number for identification and voting.

Permission is granted to Aura Property Sunshine Coast and Mix FM to publish property photos and entrant information for promotional purposes.

Entrants consent to receive occasional promotional messages from Aura Property Sunshine Coast (with opt-out available at any time).

Entries must include all requested contact details, including a valid email address, to be eligible to win.

Entrants must have their light displays illuminated for public viewing throughout the voting period (24 Nov – 18 Dec).

Entrants must not offer incentives or conduct giveaways to encourage votes. Any attempt to manipulate voting will result in disqualification.

Entrants acknowledge that the People’s Choice vote will only be counted based on “Likes” within the official Aura Property Facebook album.

Judges may visit entries between 10–17 December 2025 for assessment.

Winners will be announced on Friday 19 December 2025 on Mix FM and Aura Property social channels.
